Workshop
Where Precision Meets Practice
Every piece of diving equipment is a life support system. The regulator that delivers air at depth, the tank that holds it, the BCD that controls buoyancy - these are not accessories. They are the systems that keep divers alive, and they deserve to be maintained by people who understand exactly what is at stake.

APE Scuba Engineering operates a professional workshop facility in Timor-Leste - staffed by a certified scuba technician with decades of hands-on experience across recreational, professional, and technical diving equipment.
What We Service
Regulators
Full service, inspection, and repair across recreational and technical configurations. We work across brands with a specialist focus on Tecline technical diving systems.
BCDs & Drysuits
Inspection, bladder testing, inflator service, and repair.
Tanks & Cylinders
Hydrostatic testing, visual inspection, valve service, and maintenance.
Bauer Compressors
As Timor-Leste's only certified Bauer service centre, we provide full maintenance and repair for the complete range of Bauer professional diving systems - the compressors that keep dive operations breathing.
General Equipment
Dive computers, instrumentation, and ancillary equipment assessed and serviced as required.
How We Work
Our workshop is based in Dili and open to individual divers, dive operators, research institutions, and commercial clients. We also offer mobile servicing - bringing our capability to your dive shop, vessel, or field location when the job requires it.
Parts are sourced and imported as needed. We maintain stock of the most commonly required components for the equipment we specialise in, minimising turnaround time where possible.
We take our time with every piece of equipment that comes through the workshop. Not because we are slow - but because we understand that the margin for error in life support equipment is zero.
